A mourning PP flagbearer, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, has paid glowing tribute to his former running mate Eva Lokko, who tragically passed away late Thursday.
Eva died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital where she was receiving treatment for a nagging ailment.
Dr Nduom also announced the suspension of his campaign in the ode to Lokko he posted up on social media titled ‘A PRINCIPLED WOMAN’.
“Eva took strong, principled positions and stuck to them.” he wrote. “She was a strong voice, always reminding PPP youth to stick to our message, particularly our stand on incorruptible leadership. She was against insulting, disrespectful language and made that known to all. The PPP must be different in a positive way, she always said.”
Eva was the PPP’s parliamentary candidate for the Klottey Korle constituency.
