You don’t think any President who has run his country well enough would be able to point to their achievements? Mahama himself knows he has done next to nothing so he now has to bring in the invisible father.
When you get to the point where the God no one has seen before is your witness, then you must be in big trouble.
President John Dramani Mahama says if his opponents continue to maintain that he has not achieved anything, God is his witness who knows how much he has achieved.
Speaking on campaign stops in the Brong Ahafo Region, the President said that he has achieved tremendous things that God can bear witness to if the opposition refuses to see.
“For the last four years, I know I have performed creditably well and if they will not praise, I know God is my witness in what I have done.” he said, according to the Ghana News Agency.
“God knows I have performed and will continue to guide me to win the December 7 polls this year.”
Fortunately for him, there are lots of Ghanaians who hear the word ‘God’ and immediately their brain stops working, so perhaps this ploy can earn him some votes from some believers impressed with his fake piety.
Continuing his speech, the President said he has risen through the political ranks from the bottom, which gives him an unrivalled track record that his opponent cannot meet.
“I have the track record of beginning my career as Member of Parliament, Deputy Minister, substantive Minister, Vice President and now President and what track record do they (Opposition Parties) have to challenge my competence?” he wondered.
“Our performance is currently being monitored by Ghanaians, and based on the high performance we are churning out, they will not hesitate to offer us another opportunity,” the ‘dead goat’ who has suddenly become a very active goat, added.
