The vice Presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has presented a sum of Ghc 50,000 as well as other assorted items to be used by his alma matter Tamale Senior High School to develop the school.
Dr Bawumia presented the amount to the school towards the renovation of the assembly hall in preparation for the celebration of the institution’s 65th anniversary.
Bawumia, who is contesting in the 2016 Presidential elections on the ticket of the NPP as running mate to Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, also presented two sets of tennis tables and high jump equipment to the school.
He made a pledge to help procure an ambulance for the school as well within the next month.
Meanwhile on social media, the conversation is primarily over whether this was a donation with a political motive in mind or a man purely helping out his former school. What do you think?
