The disqualified flagbearer of the All People’s Congress, Hassan Ayariga, has revealed the extent of his riches and why he believes he’s the best man to lead Ghana.
Hassan Ayariga was apoplectic when he was disqualified from contesting in the 2016 polls by the Electoral Commission, after his filing form was riddled with administrative errors.
After showering invectives on the EC boss Charlotte Osei for his disqualification, including calling her ‘foolish’ and ‘stupid’, he continues to plead his case around the country on every platform offered him.
According to him, he grew up in a very poor part of the nation, yet pulled himself up to this point where he’s a wealthy man, owning a large mansion in his hometown of Bawku with four swimming pools. If he can do that why can he not be President of Ghana?
“I like racing. I have a series of sports cars – about four. I have the Panamera – the latest brand of the Porshce (four exhausts), I have a Toyota MR2, the one that looks like the MR8. I have the Audi TTS,” he said in an interview Wednesday.

He added his home had four swimming pools, one of which is suspended. He also repeated his assertion that he made his first million dollars by age 24, and said he self financed his campaign to the tune of $4.5m.
He therefore said in light of all this, he is justifiably angry that the EC has derailed his Presidential bid in such a manner.
