A fetish priest known as Atongo has been arrested by police in Awutu Breku for allegedly locking up a 14 year old girl and defiling her two dozen times.
The 25 year old Atongo (real name Chris Bonney) specialises in abortions, and when the girl’s boyfriend brought her to him for one, he saw his opportunity and took it – deceiving the girl the s*x was part of the abortion process and threatening her with doom if she told anyone.
Accroding to Adomonline, the girl’s 16 year old boyfriend took her to Atongo for an abortion after she got pregnant, and the priest admitted her into his rented apartment where he carries out his work.
He fed her concoctions and had s*x with her at least five times daily, the girl narrated.
“He has a bottle in his room into which he pours an alcoholic liquid, he then puts into it some small tablets and shakes very well and gives to me to drink…,” she told Adom News.
“After giving me the concoction, he covers my lips with his bed sheet and anoint my head with some of the same liquid”
She said the fetish priest told her the next stage was to have s*x with her.
“I spent five days in his custody and in all he slept with me for at least five times a day, in the morning, afternoon and evening, there was a time that when I was sleeping with my boyfriend, he walked to me at dawn and ordered me out and had sex with me.”
The girl said he spent all this time in his house, and he did not allow her to leave, also threatening her with bad things if she dared reported to anyone.
“I was not allowed to go out, no one knew I was in the room.
“He consistently warns me that the concoctions are very strong and powerful and threatens to either kill or paralyse me or my mother if I name him and his girlfriend whom he loves very much when something happens to me after taking the concoction…and I am sent to Police station,”
The girl was eventually found after her family reported her disappearance to the police, who then went to her boyfriend who led them to the fetish priest.
The Awutu Breku police confirmed the incident to Adom News, indicating that the priest and the boyfriend are likely to both be charged with kidnapping of a child under the age of 18, defilement and conspiracy to commit criminal abortion.
