Former Ghana Music Awards song of the year recipient, King Ayisoba, has joined the ranks of entertainers making their political stance known this election cycle, endorsing the President John Dramani Mahama.
Ayisoba made his stance known over the weekend when he performed at the campaign launch of the NDC MP for Wa Central Rashid Pelpuo, who’s standing for re-election this December.
Performing at the event, King Ayisoba sang the praises of both the President and Pelpuo, urging voters to choose Mahama to continue his good works.
He even performed a slightly altered version of his biggest hit, ‘I Want To See You My Father’, this time singing it as ‘I Want To See You John Mahama’.
Ayisoba becomes one of what seems like a million celebrities who have declared for one party or the other this election cycle.
