Police of the New Juaben municipality in the Eastern region is on the tail of one 35 year old man whose name has been given as Kwaku Manu for subjecting a woman to critical injuries after she refused to allow him chop her down.
The hapless incident according to reports happened at  Agyeiwaa Lodge, Friday dawn where the suspect is said to have been enjoying free accommodation from the victim’s mother.
Kwaku Manu is said to have entered the room of the victim in the night to demand for sex and after what seemed like an outright refusal, used a cutlass on her and run out of the house.
A manhunt has been launched by the police of the New Juaben municipality—meanwhile the victim was rushed to the Koforidua hospital where she is receiving treatment.
