The Black Stars of Ghana have slipped to their worst Fifa world ranking in close to a decade after a string of five games without victory and a humbling world cup qualifying loss to Egypt.
Ghana is now ranked 53rd in the world, dropping all the way down to ninth on the continent.
The Black Stars have been on a rotten run the past few months, winless in 5 and already off the pace in world cup qualifying with one point from two games. This has generated calls for head coach Avram Grant to be sacked, although the FA have taken no decision yet.
Globally, Argentina remain top, followed closely by Brazil. Germany, Chile and Belgium round out the top five.
