US President-elect Donald Trump continues to do whatever he likes on twitter, even though he has been expected to cut back his use of the social networking service since his election.
He recently caused a fracas by retweeting unverified claims of voter fraud by a 17 year old boy named Seth, continuing a tradition of simply reteweeting things he sees online without any checks of their veracity.
The act forms the basis for the latest Saturday Night Live cold open featuring Trump again (played by Alec Baldwin, of course), as well as exasperated aide Kellyanne Conway. Trump can scarcely pay attention to a security briefing, instead playing with his phone and retweeting random people on twitter.
Trump has criticised SNL for their constant lampooning of him, believe it or not, via twitter. He’s called the show he’s hosted numerous times unfunny and said it is going down the drain.
