Congratulations are certainly in order and one just came from the camp of Boris Johnson, British Foreign Secretary who has congratulated Ghana’s president-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, for his victory in the December 7 presidential election.
In a statement issued Friday night, he said:
“I congratulate Nana Akufo-Addo on his election as President-elect of Ghana. I also pay tribute to John Dramani Mahama and the other presidential candidates for their statesmanship in accepting the result and respecting the will of the Ghanaian people, he statement issued Friday night.”
