The NDC parliamentary candidate for Weija-Gbawe in the just ended elections, Obuobia Darko-Opoku, received a prophecy prior to the elections that she would win the seat.
Obuobi was present at a service when the presiding pastor prophesied that God would grant her victory in her upcoming race.
He even gave her a ‘sword of victory’ to wield, which she raised seven times to signify December 7, the day of the polls.
Unfortunately, Obuobia failed on her second attempt to annex the Weija-Gbawe seat, losing to the NPP’s Tina Ayele Mensah, who polled 34,216 votes to Obuobia’s 25,087.
Whatever she gave that pastor for that amazing prophecy, we hope she has gone back for it from him.
