"I’m Too Old For A Ministerial Post" – Kwadwo Mpiani

Kwadwo Mpiani76-year-old former Chief of Staff, Kwadwo Mpiani says he is too old to engage in active public service in the next administration and we could not agree more.
Speaking with Serwaa Akoto on Kasapa Kasiebo on Kasapa 102.5 FM, Mr. Mpiani said:
“I have grown old so I am on pension now. If Nana calls me to come and serve in his administration – I will tell him that whatever way he wants me to help in his government I will, but to be appointed a minister, that one I will beg him. I am now 76 years and will want to operate behind the scenes.”
On what he would do if the president-elect is insistent that he serves as a minister, he said:
“If he [Nana Akufo-Addo] insists on appointing me a minister, I will tell him to let me serve for one or one and half years or at least two years for somebody to come and continue.
If he still wants me to serve for four years, I will beg him to change his mind.”
