Are You Ready For The Death Of Irony? Diamond Is Disappointed Viasat 1 Rewarded Rashida For Saying 'Mala Fakka' When She Herself Writes Far Worse On Social Media Constantly

Diamond Appiah has called out Viasat 1 for rewarding bad behaviour after the station awarded Rashida the Black Beauty its viral video of the year award at the just ended Jigwe awards.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Diamond expresses worry that the organisers are essentially endorsing Rashida’s bad behaviour, considering she is famous for her use of swear words and verbally abusing her ex-boyfriend.
She wrote, in part…
“…to nominate n award a teenager who was shamefully sharing videos of how she taught one kushman how to have premarital sex n sweared at him using foul language for dumping her is below the belt n an insult to your viewers.
“By awarding her are u trying to promote immorality n promiscuousness amongst the youth n minors ? Encouraging them to post verbally abusive videos on social media for awards or endorsing swear words?
“I believe u owe ur viewers an apology bcos this is an insult to us.”
Diamond Appiah’s rant against Viasat 1 would make some sort of sense if it was not chock full of such hypocrisy.
Diamond’s indignation and consternation simply proves that her capacity for irony is dead, or she’s just that much of a damn hypocrite. Just go through her Instagram feed and look for the 2,001 times she attacked either Mzbel or Afia Schwarzenegger, and check out the language she used (or do the same in her GC feed here). She has used language far worse than any Rashida ever used, yet we are supposed to think she is offended by the word ‘Mala Faka?’
There is a reason the idiom ‘a pot calling the kettle black’ is one of the most used in the English language, because it is really profound. Diamond is living in that proverbial glass house yet is hurling stones without abandon. How many insults has she hurled at the aforementioned women on social media? – some really degrading and below the belt. Or she thinks using vulgar words is bad only when said in a video and not when written?
Rashida got an award? Diamond wanted to enter into Parliament despite her continuous use of unprintable language on social media. Talk about rewarding bad behaviour.
The argument against Viasat 1 rewarding Rashida can be made, but certainly not from Diamond Appiah the giant hypocrite.
..

Dear Viasat 1 network Am I allowed to say wot the **FUCK** happened today Since you have started awarding teenagers for using abusive, vulgar n swear words like **MOTHERFUCKER** which is now **MALAFAKA** in Rashida’s Voice. We all understand that your annual Jigwe awards is nothing serious to write home about but to nominate n award a teenager who was shamefully sharing videos of how she taught one kushman how to have premarital sex n sweared at him using foul language for dumping her is below the belt n an insult to your viewers. When did broadcasting in Ghana decline to this shameful level? We all saw the video on Facebook n thought it was amusing, shocking or perphaps funny n seriously it should have ended there just like the many nasty videos we see daily on social media. Nominating it in the first place was below the belt bcos of the content, intent n foul language. secondly the content was not suitable for viewer discretion but with incompetent n unprofessional Jokers like DKB on the board, we are not surprised how it got there. I also wonder how she managed to win that category when Lilwin’s “I can’t think far” phrase which is a nationwide sensation was in that category. How did dis happen when u have competent ppl on the board aside the Joker ? By awarding her are u trying to promote immorality n promiscuousness amongst the youth n minors ? Encouraging them to post verbally abusive videos on social media for awards or endorsing swear words? I believe u owe ur viewers an apology bcos this is an insult to us. Yours Truly.

  1. Diamond appiah stfu. Seriously none you say on the media is relevant is about time you sit down and evaluate your lifestyle before you judge others. What are you? A failed actress, model, musician and also a looser on politics. If there’s anyone to criticize this innocent girl then better not be you because all you do is to bleach like a cursed mermaid. Maame water ba. In life not anyone can be perfect to make it some use their talent or little jokes to earn recognition so sit down and zip your mouth bleaching swagger
