Black Stars Defender Edwin Gyimah Suffers Numerous Injuries After Being Involved In Obuasi Accident

Black Stars defender Edwin Gyimah was involved in an accident in his hometown of Obuasi early Monday after his car rammed into a taxi.
Gyimah was traveling in the town around 3am when his Hyundai Sonata and a taxi cab crashed into each other, leading to varying degrees of injuries for those involved.
The accident occurred on the road between the AGA School and waterworks (not far from Sam Jonah School) in the mining town.
The 25 year old sustained injuries but refused treatment, instead moving back to his hotel whilst a female in his car who also got injured received stitches. All other injured were carted to the AGA Health Foundation Hospital.
Gyimah, a player for South African side Orlando Pirates, has been a constant member of the Stars in recent years and is expected to be part of the squad for the upcoming Cup of Nations.
