Priests are usually thought of as fussy, uptight beings who are always too serious to show off their lighter side.
But the metropolitan archbishop of the Accra Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church, The Most Reverend Charles Palmer-Buckle, absolutely bucked this trend during a recent public encounter as he went full ‘rastafarian’.
The archbishop, at a church gathering over the Christmas holidays, appeared not in his usual priest get up but in a smock, sporting dreadlocks – complete with what can only be described as a rastafarian head covering.
Well now we know who the coolest priest for 2016 is…
