Chelsea’s Nigerian Midfielder Jon Mikel Obi Set For A Move To China

Nigerian midfielder Mikel Jon Obi is set for a move to the Chinese Super League after having a medical with Tianjin TEDA.

The 29 year midfielder has found game time hard to come by with his English side this season, and thus has joined the bandwagon of those making big money moves to the Chinese League.

Mikel has undergone a medical with the side, and is expected to earn £140,000 per month.

The Nigerian Super Eagles captain, who led his team to nations cup glory in 2013 – has played for Chelsea for the past decade, having been a regular for most of that time until Antonio Conte took over at the beginning of this season.
