As is usual with a change of government, some unruly elements take that chance to attempt to take over some public buildings feeling they have been given some mandate to misbehave.
They have not and they better get called to order.
The invincible forces, a security group affiliated with the NPP, tried to take over the Passport office in Accra earlier today (Monday).
They arrived in an NPP branded vehicle, claiming they were there to provide security and also demanding answers on how the place was run.
But the director of Passports, Alexander Grant, declined their requests.
“I have talked to them and explained to them the architecture at the passport office and what needs to be done before somebody is hired to provide security,” he told Joy News.
Whilst they heckled some of the security at the place during their arrival and tried to be rowdy, police arrived not long after and secured the premises.
