Multiple reports say President Akufo Addo has given in on former-President John Dramani Mahama’s request to keep his presidential residence as part of his retirement package.

Despite anger expressed by a section Ghanaians that John Dramani Mahama should vacate the residence meant for the Vice President–it has been announced that Vice President Bawumia will be housed at a different residence, Australia House.

Therefore, John Mahama will continue to enjoy the Cantonments residence he used while he was the president–which he specifically requested to be given to him as part of his end of Service package.

JOY FM claims that Akufo Addo has given the approval for Mahama to keep the bungalow but he’s yet to make it public.
