The funeral of the late queenmother of the Ashanti Kingdom, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem is currently ongoing at Manhyia in Kumasi.

The funeral has been an international event of epic proportions with national statesmen and international delegations all making an appearance to show their respects.

A group of European tourists have also been captured on the funeral grounds at Manhyia. As posted by Kobby Blay on Facebook, a Danish tourist, German student and other volunteers were captured at the funeral.

As females are required to file past the body barefoot with no jewelry on, and these tourists complied with all that just to have a feel of proceedings.
