The inauguration of Donald J. Trump occurrs in Washington today and a Ghanaian bishop was on hand to lead the all important prayer service ahead of the ceremony.
Nicholas Duncan-Williams, founder and head pastor of the Action Chapel Ministry, was on hand to lead prayers involving the incoming Commander-in-chief.
Donald Trump and wife Melania, as well as vice President Mike Pence and his family can all be seen in a photo tweeted by Pence, with the Archbishop in a pulpit leading the prayers.
“We begin this historic and humbling day as we do every day, with a moment of reflection and prayer” Pence’s tweet read.
Trump takes over as the 45th President of the United States of America after his shock victory in last year’s elections.
