Actor Mel Gibson and his girlfriend, Rosalind Ross, have welcomed their first child together and the ninth for the prolific star.

Lars Gerard Gibson was born in Los Angeles over the weekend, according to PEOPLE!

“They’re thrilled and Lars is adorable. Their family is all around them and Mel is over the moon. They’re home and everybody is healthy and happy!” a source told People magazine.

This is the ninth child of 61 year old Gibson, but his first with Ross, 26 – who he has been dating the past two years. His other children include seven with former wife Robyn Moore – six boys and a girl – plus one other with former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
