John Dumelo has revealed his one passion that has been keeping him going since the NDC’s crushing electoral loss in the 2016 elections.

Dumelo, like numerous celebrities, took a strong stand for the ruling NDC in the polls – but the party was crushed in both the Presidential and Parliamentary races.

Dumelo has not been as prominent in the public eye as he was prior to the elections, and speaking to Joy News’ MzGee, he revealed that his first love, farming, is what he has turned to in order to deal with the loss.

“I’m doing more of farming;” he said, on how he was dealing with the loss.

“I’m doing more of livestock rearing and vegetable farming. That’s what I’ve been up to. Farming is always something I’ve always had love for, it’s just that farming needs a lot of time and these days I have some time on my hands, so that’s what I’m doing now. It’s something I’m going to take up very seriously,” he added.

He said whilst he was sad the NDC lost, he has moved on.

“It’s elections, somebody wins, somebody loses, and we just have to bury the hatchet and move on. Ghana is for us, let’s all see how best we can develop the country…I’m sad that we (NDC) lost, but I’ve been okay,”
