Scandal is ABC’s hit political drama series, written by Shonda Rhimes with Kerry Washington as the lead character (Olivia Pope). It will interest you to know Gabrielle Union and Taraji P. Henson also auditioned for the “Olivia Pope” role and they couldn’t make the cut.

Just throwing lights on the direction Joselyn Dumas is set to go, with this new series (The Republic) trailer we have seen, which is just a carbon copy of Scandal.

Entrepreneur/Movie Producer, Nicole Amarteifio, who on other accounts has been likened to the Shonda Rhimes of Africa, has created the Republic TV series and placed Joselyn Dumas, Ekow Smith Asante, Jasmine Baroudi, Mawuli Gavor, Maame Adjei as lead characters in her political drama series.
