Jordan Ayew Joins Dede’s Former Club Swansea City On Transfer Deadline Day

blankGhana forward jordan Ayew has signed a three and a half year contract with Welsh club Swansea City, the club his elder brother made his name at in England.

Jordan moves from Aston Villa in the Championship, in a swap deal involving Swansea’s Neil Taylor and some cash.

Jordan joined Villa from French side Lorient in the summer of 2015, and has scored 10 goals in 58 appearances for the side. He joins a Swansea City side desperately fighting to survive in this season’s Premiership.

“I’m sure his brother has given him the inside track on the club,” said Swansea City head coach Paul Clement. “He is a very good acquisition. He’s versatile and dynamic to attack the lines and get in behind defences.

“He will certainly give us something different to what we’ve got.” he added.

His elder brother Andre spent the 2015/2016 season at Swansea, where he finished the season as one of their best players, earning him a move to his current club West Ham United.
