Musician and comedian A-Plus has taken to Facebook to call on President Nana Akufo Addo to look into the National Pay Roll as it’s alleged to be full of ghost names, although the system is being operated by an NPP MP.

He wrote:”Please investigate the civil servants’ payroll software. I hear it is run by Byran Achampong, NPP MP for Abetifi. I hear it’s full of ghost names and robbing the state of millions of taxpayers money monthly. We campaigned against the NDC for being corrupt.”

The NPP supporter added: “We voted for you because we believe you’ll check these things and protect the public purse. The open secret is that most NPP people knows about this but are covering up because it is owned and operated by an NPP person. I’m not accusing anyone of anything. I’m only calling for an investigation into this issue to boost confidence in our dear party”

Whether the President will act on this or not, remains unknown–especially with a member of the President’s political party said to be in charge of the allegedly corrupt system.
