One of the most controversial, more eccentric characters we have in Ghanaian showbiz is Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu, who performs under the name of Wanlov da Kubolor.
Kubolor is the ‘Ga’ word for a deviant person and Wanlov lives up to his name effortlessly – no less because of his eccentric personal proclivities which includes walking around barefooted.
The artiste goes everywhere he does without footwear, a quite unique trait which he is well known for.
But whilst most people know him for that, the reasoning behind the choice is not so clear. Does it imbue any benefits to him at all or it’s simply a way of standing out the more.
On Instagram Monday, Wanlov posted a photo of his barefoot, noting he has been doing it for ten years now and listing the great things about going barefoot.
