Socrate Safo is in line to head up an important department in the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration, except it’s not the one he has been lobbying for all along.

Safo has been taken out of the running for the deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Arts and Culture and instead, is in line for a role as head of the National Commission on Culture.

According to an entertainmentgh report, his candidature for the Deputy Ministerial role has been torpedoed due to the constitutional provision of the President having to appoint 40% of his ministers from Parliament.
