Former Black Stars manager Avram Grant has said that the two players sent home from the 2014 world cup for indiscipline, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Ali Muntari, should be reinstated in the team.

Grant, who never had use of either during his stint as head coach of the Stars, is recommending on his way out that the two ‘troublemakers’ be brought back in.

Grant made his statements during his appearance on Starr Chat with Bola Ray.

Asked which of the two he would prefer to have back, Grant said he would prefer both.

”I knew Sulley when he was in his 20’s, he’s a is very good footballer, great player by all standards.” he said.

He added: ”And I first met Kevin at Portsmouth, he’s a fantastic guy. He’s one of the reasons why we reached the FA Cup final even in a team with a lot of problems, we lost to Chelsea 1-0. They’re both fantastic players.”

One person who would not be too enthused with this call is veteran sports journalist Kwabena Yeboah, who eviscerated Prince in a now legendary tirade when asked about the Las Palmas player calling for changes in Ghana football after the Stars Afcon exit.
