VGMA 2017 Discovery of the Year nominee Ebony has revealed that given the choice between muusic and education, she would choose music all day long.
According to the dancehall star, one can make it in life irrespective of educational status, so for her the choice is quite clear.
The ‘Kupe’ singer, born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, has not completed senior high school herself since she chose to complete her music career.
Speaking with the Daily Heritage, Ebony was asked about what her choice would be if asked to choose between her music and getting an education.
“Education is important but I will choose music over education.” she told the daily.
“One can flourish in life irrespective of his/her level of education. Though I did not complete Senior High School, I am intelligent and talented. If I work hard, I will be a great musician.”
Having said that, Ebony added though that she plans to go back to school.

“I have plans to further my education but for now, music can give me everything I need in life. Music is my life,” she added.
