Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has described current Ghana leader Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the new Kwame Nkrumah.
Mugabe addressed a presser in Accra today, during which he spoke on various issues surrounding the Ghana @ 60 celebrations as well as issues of bilateral interest.
According to the nonagenarian leader, Akufo-Addo’s speech which he delivered on Independence Day was moving and reminded him of Dr Nkrumah, who led Ghana to Independence.

Mugabe, who led his own country to Independence in 1980 but has held onto power since, described how Nkrumah inspired him all those years ago.
On trade, Mugabe called on Ghana to increase its trade with his country of Zimbabwe.
