Award-winning Ghanaian Film-maker, Kofi Asamoah has told GhanaCelebrities.Com that, the Kofas Media and Miracle Wave International’s 150,000 dollars budget movie has officially been given the title; John & John–The Tale of the Greedy Bastards.

A few days ago, GhanaCelebrities.Com reported that the movie now known as “John & John–The Tale of the Greedy Bastards” which seeks to take a hit at greedy bastards seems to have its own inner greedy bastards, set to play key roles. That’s after several cast members of which some are top African actors jumped on the neck of the two production houses following the announcement that $150,000 was to be sent on the movie–asking to be paid more than they had initially agreed to.

“As a result of this development, we are told Martha Ankomah, Majid Michel and other top actors many not be appearing in the movie–despite having been initially mentioned as part of the cast,” we reported.

Despite the above, shooting of the movie has started–and GhanaCelebrities.Com has obtained exclusive BTS photos.

The movie features veteran Nigerian actor-Pete Edochie, Kalybos, Ahuofe Patri, LilWin, Nana Ama McBrown, Zynnell Zuh, Joselyn Dumas, Salma Mumin, Yaw Dabo, Kwaku Sintim Misah (KSM), A Plus, Majid Michel, Grace Nortey and others…

It’s a Crimedy (Crime Comedy), being shot at three locations; Accra, Ada, and Asutware.

The movie tells the story of two ‘idiots’ (Kalybos and Lil Win) who work for a wicked baron (Pete Edochie). These ‘idiots’ were sent by their master to deliver $1,000,000 to another baron (KSM). On their way to deliver the money, their car developed a mechanical fault.

Their search for a mechanic proved futile. As night emerged, the two spotted a resort, so decided to spend the night there. While carrying the money to their room, the bag containing the money split open, paving way for the money to scatter on the floor.

Now, all the workers, including other guests at the resort, know there’s $1,000,000 hidden in Kalybos and Lil Win’s room. They all try their best to get hold of that money. Meanwhile, the recipient (KSM) is waiting for the money to be delivered to him. What will he do? What’s Pete Edochie, the wicked baron also going to do?

And how will Lil Win and Kalybos safeguard that money? Well, the outcome will be made known in the movie.

‘John & John’ is set to be premiered on Easter Friday…
