You know what you get whenever maverick politician Kofi Wayo speaks – and that is nothing but fire and blood.

And he’s back with his endless criticisms of anyone and everyone not him, this time against the Ghana @ 60 celebrations.

Kofi Wayo, in a recent interview, said he’s now venturing into farming instead of politics so he can help people.

“I am now into farming and assisting the farmers in the villages with implements and other logistics unlike their MPs who are cruising in landcruisers and don’t care about them,” said Wayo, according to the Daily Graphic.

According to him, whilst everyone was wasting time on the ‘useless’ Ghana @ 60 celebration, he was actually doing some real good.

“While you guys were at the independence square dancing and making some useless noise, I was in the farm working. These farmers need first aid and I want government to institute measures to make health care accessible to them. I am a celebrated being in the village giving exercise books and cutlasses to the poor farmers who need them,”

Wayo ended reiterating his age old cry, that both major parties (the NDC and the NPP), are simply interested in enriching themselves and not working for the welfare of the Ghanaian people.
