So-called Counsellor George Lutterodt says it’s only women who commit suicide over love and men do not do so because ‘we are not fools’.
A spate of suicides seem to have hit the country in recent days with several gaining media attention, which has led to a discussion over what could be leading to it.
Whilst some experts have given nuanced explanations over what might be causing it, Lutterodt has just boiled it down to gender, as he does with virtually every issue.

He seems to enjoy putting women down.
Speaking to GhanaWeb, Lutterodt said only women commit such suicides, and that is because their expectations in love are not met.
Men, he said, aren’t ‘fools’ to commit suicide over love.
