Evelyn Boakye who was allegedly physically assaulted at her Ablenkpe Marwako work place  by her Labanese Supervisor Jihad Chaaban is reported to be on a suicidal mission for a reason not known yet.

The victim who received GhC 5,000 from the Duffour Foundation is said to have been sent to the KorleBu Teaching hospital yesterday following concerns of her ill-health and weakness.

Dela Michel reporting for GH One Tv news stated that “when she came in she hadn’t eaten for a while, she refused to eat before she was brought in here … she was told she could collapse and die and she responded she is ready to die, she doesn’t mind if she collapses and die”.

Evelyn’s response has been described as suicide tendencies and  has therefor been admitted at the Korle Bu Psychiatric unit where she is receiving treatment.

Meanwhile the case still continues in court as Jihad Chabaan has been granted a GhC20, 000 bail.
