Kanye West has completely denied rumours that he’s in discussions to host an expected reboot of the now defunct singing show American Idol.

Numerous reports claim NBC are in talks with Ye to get him on board the expected reboot, as a sort of Simon Cowell replacement.

But a rep for the rapper had told TMZ there’s no truth to the extensive rumours which is blowing up US tabloid media.

“There is no conversation with Kanye West to join ‘American Idol’ or any other show for that matter.” a rep told the notoriously accurate TMZ.

The show might be set for a return but according to Kanye’s people, he’s not going to be onboard.
