The august Parliament House of Ghana went ‘Helter Skelter’ a few days ago with tempers flying like a rocket.
It was reported that the scene which almost turned the house into a boxing ring emanated from the disagreement among the Honourable MPs on the report of the Joe Ghartey’s Bribery Committee but what actually lit the match into the leaking gas was Mathew Opuku Prempeh calling Alhassan Suhuyini a fool – Sam George claims.
The said Minister has denied ever authoring such unparliamentary expression against the Tamale North MP and refuses to apologize saying that “I absolutely and unequivocally deny that I used that word on Hon Suhuyini during the proceeding or at any time in Parliament yesterday … no such thing occurred, as viewers of the proceedings would note” but Sam George insists he has evidence which captures Mathew Opoku Prempeh using all sorts of derogatory words against Suhuyini and he must be Honourable enough to apologize.
