Kettle Calling Pot Black–A Case of Mzbel & the Slay Queens [Make-Up No Be CLAY]

A new bunch of Ghanaian Celebrities have emerged–and they are best described as the Slay Queens.

These women, largely unemployed but proudly and fraudulently carry fancy titles such as actress, entrepreneur, model, TV Presenter, musician and Producer are event prostitutes–constantly on the search for the next big public event to attend, just so they can SLAY by wearing some ridiculous dress with their “huhudious” make-up.

The 2017 Ghana Music Awards brought us a lot of them, including the now famous “Power Rangers”.

The word which has become common in the dictionary of these new celebrities is “SLAY”–to mean, having rocked an outfit perfectly or having appeared flawless and super stunning.

Let me mention that, the continuous use of the word is not just annoying but also worrying, because mostly their appearances do not merit even the drunkard use of the word.

It was therefore not shocking that right after the 2017 VGMAs, Ghanaian musician-Mzbel, who was absent at the event released a song to make a mockery of the SLAY QUEENS, especially their bad make-up.

It’s, however, ironic that this song came from Mzbel because she belongs to the same gang of slayers–with as many bad make-up photos at public events just as the people she set out to mock.

We’ve therefore pulled up a ridiculous Mzbel public appearance photo to show that, this is simply a case of a kettle calling a pot black.

Make-up is not CLAY!
