Annual Musical Concert bout between sister countries, Ghana and Nigeria is slated to happen 27th May at a yet to be announced venue though we know it’s either Accra International Conference Center OR National Theatre as there’s no other option.
However, Organizers have announced Davido, Tekno ,and Shatta Wale as leading acts to thrill the Ghana-Naija audience.
The concert which is popularly called TiGO Ghana Meets Naija (TGMN17) is a birthed production by Empire Entertainment, a Media and an Events entity founded by EIB’s CEO Bola Ray.
Organizers of the event speaking exclusively on Live Fm said “Alright so let me give Live FM an exclusive, Davido is coming through, confirmed and signed. Davido is on for Ghana Meets Naija. We have Shatta (Wale) as well…they should also look out for Tekno.” Peacefmonline reported.

Davido’s “If” song is a monster hit track which explains why he is on the bill and Tekno’s growing force in making good music from “Pana“ to “Diana” and even producing Davido’s “If” also gives us a good reason that he is certainly a good pick for the May concert. As Shatta Wale, it’s quite obvious he does not need a new big song to be good cuts for the show as he has a 24/7 crazy fanbase and buzz that will sell the show. Nevertheless, Shatta Wale’s “Taking Over” collaboration with Joint 777, Addi Self and Captan is presently a turn-up anthem which is expected to carry the night for Ghana.
