Nana Ama Mcbrown is stepping down as host of the ‘Aben Show’ on UTV and according to reports, ‘Hot Gossip’ host Babie Dapaah has been tipped to replace her.

McBrown steps down after four years hosting the popular celebrity cooking show, although there has been some confusion over what’s causing her move.

Whilst some reports claim the affable actress is leaving because of a rift with show producers, she told Peacefmonline that its nothing of the sort and its simply that her time is up.

“It is true I would no longer be the host of the Aben show from the beginning of the new season which will be the fifth season but there is no problem”. she told the publication.
“I signed a contract with producers to shoot four seasons of the show and we have had four successful seasons but now my time, my plans and my new schedule would not allow me to continue so I didn’t renew my contract. That’s all! there is no problem”. she added.

Whatever the case, McBrown is moving on and according to all indications, Babie takes over.
