Today is always a special day for me, because without you there will be no me, really, it’s not just a song there wouldn’t!!
The things I’ve been able to achieve in life I couldn’t have if you weren’t by my side every step of the way.
We’ve come such a long way from that one bedroom apartment, a long way from the tears we cried together and the feeling of abandonment, we’ve come a long way from losing faith and feeling like the world was against us. Today is special because we get to look back and be glad for the journey and how each moment was relevant to the grace we enjoy today.
On your 65th birthday mum I’m glad that I get to give you nearly everything you’ve ever desired and more.
Thank you God for blessing me with not only a mother, but my confidant, best friend, partner in crime, dance partner and my biggest CHEERLEADER.
I’m so grateful that we have rare relationship many can only dream of; and most of all thanks for being the glue that kept us all together.
