Rapper Kendrick Lamar has hit a major milestone for his new album, ‘Damn’, a rap album which is so far achieving feats hitherto impossible for rap albums.
Every single song on the critically acclaimed album has charted on the Billboard Hot 100, and now, it has officially been certified platinum.
The Recording Industry Association of America (AIAA) certified the album platinum, which is the highest level of certification a project can get. It is given out when it sells one million album unit.
Lamar’s label Interscope made the massive announcement via social media late Thursday.
