Joyce Dzidzor Mensah and her son, whom she had with her recently deceased husband, have both shaved their hair, as custom demands, to mourn her late husband.

Dzidzor’s husband, Edmund Akaniru, died after suffering a mysterious illness, and his death looks to have precipitated another breakdown in the constantly troubled life of Dzidzor.

She took to social media first to reveal his death in a bizarre post, then added a follow up one in which she revealed their entire relationship had been built on lies.

Wonder what other ‘customs’ Dzidzor would be required to go through before her husband is buried, and whether she would happily go through them all.
