Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor has taken a strip on forceful marriages as she recounts her experience.

The Born Again actress who is now an Evangelist also continued that she was a respectful child who couldn’t disobey her parent so she obliged to their want.

And even at that age, I had so many suitors. You know when you come from a polygamous family and your mother is struggling for her own daughters to get married and this other one is also struggling for her own daughters to get married and when this one [suitor] came around and my mother said go and I could not make a choice. I was not allowed to make a choice. At the end, I had to obey my parents. I was not brought up to disobey them at all.

Talking as a Christianly Mother, Mama G advised that women should stay in their marriages no matter what and only life threatening issues should let them walk out to another man. She revealed that, that’s why she didn’t quit her marriage though she didn’t enjoy it. “Sincerely speaking as a Christian I did not.
