Erico, Mentor fame, has a problem with producer Vinny Kay and based on that. says he would not pay any money he owes Kay and he can sue him if he likes.

Erico, who won the third season of TV3’s Mentor reality show and recently launched a new album, furiously explained himself during a fiery interview with Kasapafmonline.

Erico revealed he had an arrangement with Vinny Kay to use his studio for recordings for Ghc 1,500, which he would pay after the launch.

However, whilst still gathering the money Kay told the media and some important people in his life about the issue which has dented his reputation thus he would not pay a dime back to him anymore.

“I told him I can afford GH¢1,000.00 instead of GH¢1,700.00 and promised him to pay back immediately after the launch of my album but due to circumstances beyond my control, I wasn’t able to pay the agreed amount.” he said.

“Infact I was pissed off when I was called by my Godmother and some Elders of my church to question me about the issue and this notwithstanding he has granted interviews to the media making this issue go viral,” he added.

“I told him after the launch I will pay the debt but most of the monies were pledges which I’m retrieving. I’m so peeved by his action and will gladly state that I’ll no more pay the debt… If I pay even GH¢1.00 change my name. He can take me to court after all the agreement wasn’t on paper, if he claims contrary let him prove it,”

Reacting to Erico’s bluster, Kay said he was prepared to take the issue to court if that was what would give him his money.

He said the songs were recorded in February and he hasn’t received his money till date.

“If Erico fails to pay my money in the shortest possible time, I will rightly do what law demands,” he said.
