Rapper Denning Edem Hotor, known professionally as simply Edem, has revealed that he has never cheated on his wife, in fact, the thought has never even crossed his mind.

The rapper told Showbiz that marriage has been good to him and thus he’s never even considered doing anything to jeopardise it – although he has been tempted a few times.

“I have never thought of cheating on my wife and I have never done that. I do get the temptation but I am so focused on my wife and career that I don’t even take note of it,” he said to Showbiz.

Elaborating more on how he avoids the temptations, the rapper said the key is ‘self control’.

“The word is self-control. I just have that so I make a conscious effort not to cheat no matter how tempting the offer is.

“Self-control deals with ability to keep one’s emotions and desires in check, especially in difficult situations. For me, that is what every man must strive to achieve,” he added.

“Marriage is not a joke but it is enjoyable when the two decide to cherish each other, communicate and be transparent.  It is the most wonderful experience any human could go through.”

After praising marriage in such terms, Edem revealed his own could not be better.

“It’s been an amazing journey. My wife understands my job and she always tries to live a low key life. She is very supportive of my career and I love, respect and adore her very much.”
