The Fox reboot of the popular tv series 24, Legacy, has been cancelled after just one season by the network.

The network has taken the painful decision due to the inability of the series to catch fire among fans, in contrast to its much more popular predecessor.

However, the network says they are still exploring more spin-offs to the original series, which was one of Fox’s most popular shows of all time.

24: Legacy starred Corey Hawkins as the CTU agent Eric Carter, the new incarnation of Jack Bauer. Kiefer Sutherland, who played Bauer, co-executive produced the show.
