Mzbel shocked many a few years ago when she declared that she did not believe in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the central figure in the Christian religion.

Despite enormous backlash, she has not gone back on that opinion and in fact, has reiterated it in a recent interview.

Mzbel was the guest on Celebrity Drive with Zionfelix Adomako and told him that she has left Christianity because she sees the religion as one of idol worship.

“Me, I think it (Christianity) is idol worshipping because I wonder why people will put an image of a white man in their chapel and worship it. Some even have to picture the image in their minds while praying,” she said.

Mzbel also said she has a big problem with the concept of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ as being necessary for God to forgive sins.

“I don’t believe that God will have to commit murder to save sinners. If God will forgive your sins he will.

“I believe in God but I don’t believe we have to pray through Jesus through God. I don’t believe that Jesus is God. But from Sunday school, people have been taught about Jesus so it is difficult to change their mind,” she added.

Mzbel also talked about her love for old men instead of young men.

“I am an old man’s girlfriend. Everybody in Ghana knows that I don’t date young guys. If you are a young guy and I date you, I might break your heart. I like old men. They are very gentle,”

She continued: “They don’t also like s*x. They can’t even have s*x for long. You know, I don’t like s*x like that. I like s*x once in a while,”
