A huge sigh of relief went off in Shatta land Saturday as Wizkid picked up the BET award for Best International Act: Africa, ahead of Stonebwoy.

The ‘One Dance’ hitmaker won the award at the ‘backstage’ event held ahead of the main event.

Stonebwoy first won the award in 2015, and picked up his second nomination this year. However, it didn’t turn out so well for him this time.

Shatta Wale’s probably having a party this time.

The BET awards comes off tonight (Sunday).
