Ghanaian Actor – Ronny Nii Armah Dies After Drowning At La Boma Beach


Ghanaian actor Obed Nii Armah, popularly known as Ronny Nii Armah, has died.

Ronny died whilst swimming at the La Boma Beach with friends on the recent Republic Day holiday.

Ronny, a Level 300 student of the University of Cape Coast studying Basic Education, made his name in theatre productions of Scribe Productions.

He famously played ‘Woyome’ in This Family Is Not For Sale Season 1 and 2”, and “I Want To Sue God”.

According to ghanaweb, Ronny was swimming with friends at the beach when he submerged for a while and was struggling with the waves.

He was reportedly dead already when pulled out.

“We are very heart broken. We really had plans of doing lots of projects together. Well. All we can say is, “God knows best.” May his good soul rest well. We have lost such a talent! Hmmm”, said Scribe Productions CEO, Kobina Ansah.
