Musician/Comedian A Plus is once again questioning the intelligence of those so enthralled to their pastors that they’ll do everything just to get some miracles.
A Plus’ latest comments come in the wake of the revocation of the license of Capital Bank – which counts Mensa Otabil among its board members – by the Central Bank of Ghana for its inability to keep it financial commitments.
Capital Bank was the bank where attendees at ICGC’s Greater Works could deposit money to receive their miracles, including the marquee $5,000 for the ‘millionaire status’ on offer.
A Plus criticised the move at the time and Capital Bank’s practical liquidation has given him more ammo in that fight.
Writing on Facebook, the controversial artist wondered why anyone would believe that Otabil can grant them a ‘millionaire status’ from God for $5,000 yet he couldn’t even pray to keep the bank whose board he sits on afloat.
“…Can’t he pray for the bank to make money? Or the angels are now doing susu for him? Bɔi!!!!” A Plus wrote.
“Ayoooh!!! “You foolish born again Christians.” Think oooooo think. If he can pray for you to become a millionaire why can’t he pray into their “impairing capital.?” he added.

“Not long ago a pastor asked his congregation to sow seeds into an account in a certain bank to make them millionaires. Today that bank’s Licence has been revoked and taken over by GCB due to what the central Bank describe as severe impairment of their capital. What I’m gathering is that the millionaire making pastor has a huge stake in this “ZERONAIR BANK” Those who still want to defend the pastor say he is only the board chairman. So even if he’s only the board chairman can’t he pray for the bank to make money? Or the angels are now doing susu for him? Bɔi!!!!
